Avi was the second realtor I met with in trying to sell my Aunt's house following her passing in December 2017. Although the house was not in great shape and needed repairs, within minutes he convinced me we could sell it as is and he was "my guy". While it took some time, we eventually did sell it. We first met Avi in 2016 through a phone call that started two years before we hired an agent. This was an estate sale and we were not ready to sell home in 2016. Avi consistently checked in with us and each time i shared we were not ready but to call us about every 3 months which he did. When we made decision to sell home we then interviewed him and two other agents and decided he was best fit for our goals. His advice and strategy on the initial pricing of home was very good as we had significant traffic but market feedback was home was just priced too high for work that needed to be done and when we saw where market was we made the right adjustment at his recommendation. Within about 10 days of adjusted price we saw even more activity which resulted in a good offer. As we headed towards the finish line the initial mortgage appraisal came back at approximately 50K less than offer which was the result of the lender and appraiser being based out of Brigantine, NJ who had no understanding of the north jersey investment market. As this was a mortgage contingency sale Avi immediately connected with he buyers realtor and within 4 days had a new north jersey based appraiser come in the appraisal was in line with the value of the home and offer made by seller. Avi's advice during the whole process was on target and consistent. He followed up on every visit as well as what was required during the closing process. It was an excellent experience and I would strongly recommend working with Avi.

He is an awful person and completely unprofessional. Aside from the fact that he knew absolutely nothing about proper communication skills and basic manners, in terms of how to treat other people, he also created stress and upset for me and my family when all we were trying to do was sell our home. For instance, Avner promised a specific asking price, which was perfect for me and my family. However, not long after we agreed to work with him, he began to break his promise of the price he guaranteed us and drastically change the numbers. He also never even came to the house, and made inaccurate descriptions about the listing, which he never even saw to begin with. He has a true talent of making those he works with feel embarrassed, frustrated, and angry. We only hope that no one ever hires him, no one deserves that amount of stress and anger contaminating their lives or their families.
