Like so many others, we decided to move to beautiful Colorado from out of state. We didn’t know the area very well, but we got very fortunate finding Joan and her team after researching agents in Castle Rock. From the start, Joan spent a lot of time with us on the phone just talking about our needs and what we were looking for in both a home and area to live in. We took an exploratory trip out and Joan showed us some homes, but existing and new build, over the course of our trip. We have a three-year-old and a baby, and Joan was amazing and patient with our kids. Our little three-year-old just adores her! But back to the home search – she recommended the perfect community to us, and we were fortunate to find a model and lot that worked great for our family. She was very helpful throughout the process, and it is important to have a knowledgeable and reputable agent to help through the new build process. One part of buying a new build is the final walkthrough, where they explain how things work and you also have an opportunity to point out things that need final touch ups prior to taking possession. However, it is very difficult to look at your new home with an objective eye since you are so happy to be buying it, at least it was that way for us, and thus everything looked great! But Joan was able to spot many items we overlooked and was able to get them all taken care of before we took possession. I can’t tell you how glad we were to have her there with us through the process! And then again at closing, she was there to explain everything in detail, while also entertaining our three-year-old again! We really can’t recommend Joan and her team enough; they did amazing work, and we were grateful to have them help us through this exciting yet sometimes stressful event. Thank you JPG!
