We hired Jo as a buyers' agent about a year before we actually found a home. Coming from out of state, we kept watch online, and when we found the right home, we contacted her and she was able to immediately get our inquiry to the listing agent. Within days there was an offer from another party, so we needed to act quickly with no time for us to travel to actually see the home. Jo needed to be our eyes to decide if this was the right move. Together we crafted a competitive offer, and with a few hours to spare the listing agent presented our offer, which was then accepted. During the entire process, Jo was there to represent us in her fiduciary role. She was there in person during inspection, at closing, when we did a handover with the seller, etc. She paid attention to every detail and date to make sure we had a successful closing.
