It’s my love of the housing industry that lead me to become a licensed Realtor. Having both a Builder and Realtor license, I’m able to provide a unique service to my customers, a thorough understanding of real estate. From raw land development to a site built home, from buying a property to selling, I will be there every step of the process. Over the past 12 years I’ve worked close with investors to purchase homes to remodel and resale. I have also built homes for investors and for families. My name is Kevin McHaney and I am the Broker/Owner for RE/MAX New Horizons. I opened our doors in 2007 after several years as an agent in a local Real Estate Company. I am engaged in Real Estate to help people have great representation in the buying or selling of property, whether it be residential or investment, land or home. Providing professional services are of the utmost importance to me. This is why I have served our Local Realtor Association – Greater Piedmont Realtors as a member of the Board of Directors, Treasurer/Secretary, Vice President and President. I am also a member of the Public Policy Committee working for land owner’s rights. I am in my 20th year as a broker and have been awarded the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award for dedication, and production, as well as the Virginia Realtors Honor Society Award, and the Greater Piedmont Broker of the Year. In my spare time, I have served as a USA Swimming Coach for 36 years, and love to cheer on my alma mater UVA’s Swim Teams (the Women are the current National Champions). Helped us sell our house extremely fast! He has a big email list and as soon as he sent the MLS, we had showings book and we had several offers within a few days! Selling our house was made easy by Steven’s guiding us through the process and getting everything taken care of for us. My husband & I were looking to buy our first home

My husband & I were looking to buy our first home. Being that it was our first time we had absolutely no idea what we were doing & found looking up the whole process online was was both frustrating & overwhelming. I was fortunate enough to find Steven Martin! Let me start out by saying Steven is hands down the best real estate agent out there! He “held my hand “through the whole process. He never wasted our time. He listened to what we wanted in our home & what our price range was & only showed us properties with those qualities. When we did find our house Steven was very patient with me. He answered all of our questions (& there were a lot) and brought to our attention other important details that we never even thought to ask. He took every one of my phone calls (& there were many many calls) he was always patient, kind, friendly & professional with me. Steven was there For us in every aspect of this process from beginning to end! I can’t imagine having to buy or sell a house without Steven. We will definitely be using him again when the time comes. Thank you Steven for all your hard work & dedication in making our new house special!!

Great Agent

Mr. Martin sold my house back in February of this year. I moved to Michigan to be closer to my family and had issues finding a buyer for my house in Ruckersville, VA My previous agent was not showing my house and left town without saying anything. I called Mr. Martin and spoke to him regarding the issues. He immediately started working on the house and called me weekly to keep me updated. This was not an easy process to do from another state but Mr. Martin made everything clear and easy to move forward. House sold thanks to Mr. Martin and his hard work. I highly recommend him because he’s honest and works hard to find you a buyer.
