Mary is FANTASTIC. She helped me buy a home. I've worked with three realtors to buy and sell three different homes, and she's my favorite realtor by far. She got me a fantastic deal, then got the price down further after inspections, got me a mortgage broker, and even called in a bunch of favors to get the repair work done asap after the inspections. She even caught things I didn't see and I'm picky. She's very aggressive at getting an incredible deal for her clients, and yet she's incredibly friendly and easy to work with when it comes to the buyer-agent relationship. After my own agent succumbed to health issues and her colleague proved inadequate, I was on a search for a new agent! And let me tell you - finding an agent with LISTING EXPERIENCE was much harder than I thought! Many of the agents I interviewed primarily represent buyers and so their listing experience was limited. Janie on the other hand was quite the opposite. She had managed a bunch of listings before and so she was better able to assess the value of my home relative to market conditions. Her M.O.? No fluff, get straight to the point, and move quickly to get the home on the market. It's a no BS approach that's quite refreshing. In the end, I was able to get what I wanted. Definitely more than if I had gone with the other agents who just did not see the same value in my home. In summary: You can't go wrong with Janie if YOU NEED HELP WITH SELLING A HOME. Also, don't get suckered into the marketing spiel a lot of agents will throw at you.
