About Marc

Marc was born in Lyon, France and raised in Colorado. Although coming to the USA as a early, his combined French, and Western heritage has greatly influenced who he is. Marc is currently a Real Estate sales agent for Pearson Smith Realty. Right off of the bat, Marc has had great success generating leads, and developing personal relationships. He often says that Real Estate is his calling, and only wishes that he had discovered this passion earlier. After working as an account manager in wine for almost 16 years, something was missing in Marc’s life. He found himself going through the motions but was lacking excitement and passion. Marc has taken all this expertise and applies it daily to his business. Delivering excellent service, but also connecting on a personal level with his clients. Marc's goal in any real estate transaction is not only to get you the best results, whether buying or selling your home but also to build a relationship that will last a lifetime. He strives that each one of his clients to look at him as a resource to help in whatever the situation is. He takes great pride in my ability to solve problems and works hard to bring his clients the service and experience that they deserve. After the death of his mother in 2017, Marc realized that life is too short to waste doing something he no longer enjoyed. What Marc really wanted was to help people. It was his wife, Coco that came up with the Idea of Real Estate. Going through the purchase of buying their first home, Marc really enjoyed the entire process, even though the agents Coco and Marc had (with the exception of their final agent) were horrible. After discussing it Marc decided that he could provide better service, and do something that would give his life fulfillment. Marc now has a renewed purpose and drive. He wakes up excited to take on all the new challenges that await him, and knows that he will deliver excellent service, and help his clients fulfill their dreams! The perfect real-estate agent

Yalcin is amazing and a joy to work with. He understood exactly what we wanted and offered options that met our requests. I loved that he was always reachable. I believe it is important to find someone who will answer your questions quickly when receiving service. Since we were new in the country, he stood by us as a calm and reassuring person in the face of the different situations we encountered during the process. Thanks to him, we got answers to all our questions and found solutions to overcome all difficulties. I would highly recommend all my friends to work with Yalcin.

Marc was so helpful to us in acquiring our new home in Springfield, VA

Marc was so helpful to us in acquiring our new home in Springfield, VA. We were coming across the country to the DC area and he accommodated our schedules to see houses. He even helped us out by providing Facetime house tours when we could no longer be in person to visit homes. He had a great inspector to evaluate the homes we made offers on and we felt good about his expertise as well. Marc never pressured us to purchase any home and he even helped us get out of one contract that we did not feel comfortable completing. We feel fortunate to have found him and would highly recommend him to others as a knowledge, considerate and well connected realtor.

My fiance and I had a wonderful time working with Piard Home Experts on buying a home

My fiance and I had a wonderful time working with Piard Home Experts on buying a home. We were first time buyers so we met with Marc and Coco for a free first time home buyers presentation which was easy to understand and very informative. It gave us a good sense for what was to come later. Immediately after we were pre-qualified for a loan, Marc was willing to go with us to view various homes. In all, Marc probably toured 20 homes with us, and did a great job of coordinating days where we would go see several at a time. We didn't see many that we were enthusiastic about, but Marc never complained and never rushed us. He provided great advice on what to look for when touring homes and made good suggestions for places that would meet our criteria. In fact, during the first time buyers presentation, Marc and Coco listened very intently to what kind of home we desired and catered to those wishes. Once we found the home we were looking for, Marc worked quickly to get our offer in and then help get all of our documentation in order to go under contract. All in all, we had a great experience working with Piard Home Experts. They show a great deal of care and attention to each client and respond with compassion to frustrations and concerns. They also use technology to their advantage and made every step of our homebuying process convenient. We felt we were in good hands the whole time. They were even so generous as to get us a housewarming gift at closing! If you go with Piard Home Experts you won't regret it! They are responsive, caring, down-to-earth, and we are so lucky to have found them!
