Melanie is simply the tops. Her extensive knowledge of all aspects of real estate -- including excellent guidance on how to bid wrt local market values and comps, was invaluable. Her tireless follow through on every step of the transaction -- from submitting a bid to closing, made us feel like we were in extremely capable hands. We lived four hours away during our search, and her willingness to show us houses via Skype was really helpful. In fact, that is how we first saw the home we now own on the Cape. I have bought and sold 5 homes throughout my life, therefore I have some point of reference to remark on my experience with Melanie as well as in general and to her character. Since purchasing a home is not commonplace or something I am an expert at; trust and reliance upon my realtor is of great importance as she will be the person who navigates me through the process from beginning to end. I have had several realtors who had more of their own self interest in the forefront rather than mine, the paying customer. Without hesitation, this has NOT been my experience with Melanie Cauchon, not even close. Melanie, above all else, has integrity. I worked with her for six months, we looked at close to fifty homes. We were a team. She taught and guided me through this very challenging market of staggering home prices coupled with an extremely limited inventory. She inspected every home as if she were the buyer. She asked questions and dove into town records. She was honest. Melanie was relentless in finding a house that would ultimately become my home. And she did!! Thank you Melanie.
