About Lara

Even though I received my GA license in 2022, I am not new to the real estate world. I grew up in Texas about 40 miles outside of Dallas. My father was a banker, cattleman, real estate agent and then broker. Much was learned from shadowing him from rural Texas to the mountains of NC. Walking lots or acreage, helping seniors downsize, or walking first time home buyers through the home buying process all bring me joy. I love any home buying challenge. I am blessed with a loving family which consists of my supportive husband, 3 grown children, 1 teenager and 2 grandkids. An animal lover at heart has given way to 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 8 chickens (and I would have more farm animals if I could). Love the Atlanta Braves (A-list member), Georgia Bulldogs and Dallas Cowboys.

Great to work with.

Melanie was a joy to work with. She showed us many, many homes and never lost patience with the process. Scheduling appointments was easy, always let me know if she was even a couple minutes behind. Went above and beyond. We had a different agent selling our home but Melanie was still happy to be a sounding board for it. She was a great agent that is now a friend!

House in Hayesville

We bought a new log home in Murphy. Talked to Melanie about selling and moving. She said that what you want is not in Murphy it is in Hayesville. The next day she had a new house for us to look at. We went in and loved it there is so much more to do in Hayesville . We then had here sell our log home in Murphy. She sold that house in 2 weeks. She is a great realtor.

Nothing short of Phenomenal!

I have worked with many real estate agents over the years and have never worked with somebody as professional, organized and kind as this wonderful woman. As we were out of state buyers, we needed somebody who could be our eyes so to speak. And Melanie was just that! Once we found our home, the transaction was not easy as there were quite a few issues after the inspection. Melanie is a great intermediary, and we truly were very happy that by working with the sellers agent got all of our issues resolved in a timely manner. When we arrived in town, (my husband had never seen the home) Melanie made sure that we became familiar with the area so we would feel right at home. She is the best of the best. If she didn't immediately respond to my calls, she would call back very shortly after no matter what she was doing! Anyone who has Melanie as thier Real Estate Agent can rest assured that she will get the job done with very limited stress to you and your family!

If you’re looking for an agent to work with on buying or listing side, look no further! Lara was a joy to work with on this transaction. In everything she did, it was obvious that her goal was to take care of her client; she negotiated well for them, was patient & considerate, and always answered her phone.
