Janis was very understanding through the process in a very difficult situation. I know this is what she does, but in our instance she did it very well. Dealing with the other person in the transaction was what had to guide the sale and this was a most difficult person to deal with. Janis handled it well throughout. I'm not one to give 5 stars easily (I'd give 4.5 stars if I could), so the one point of differing opinion we had was it is likely that the sale price was too low. Janis had solid reasoning behind it - considering the other person in the sale, Janis felt that negotiations could be bad for the sale due to the other person's unwillingness to provide timely response and she likely was correct - but it was something that Janis and I differed on and, while I agreed to the sale price (and, to Janis point, the sale went smoothly as there was virtually no back and forth with the buyer), Janis knew that this was not my preference, so we kinda caved to the other person in the sale process. With that said and to reiterate, Janis is a very good person to have when working with difficult situation and I was glad to have her on our team

Steven Cunningham is an awesome, AWESOME realtor. He went to bat for us when we really needed it. Many times, he traveled all the way down to our house (45 min from his office and region) and personally rolled his sleeves up to get our house in the best shape possible to sell. Our neighbors all remarked at how often he was there and how hard he worked. He asked permission to get some stuff to fix up the outside a little bit for an agreed budget and di a great job! He often sells higher ticket houses than ours, but he put 110% into securing top bids for our house. He is the kindest man, a true "Southerner," and was a rock star all the way through. From finding a quality house in a beautiful neighborhood amidst a CRAZY overpriced market, all the way to getting it ready to sell a few years later. He sold it at full price, in a slow market, in 3 days. He also researched and found a reputable realtor for us in the state we moved to. There aren't words for how grateful we are for him!
