My husband and I were looking for a retirement home and had explored online before we went to visit. We had also been to Savannah a few times for vacation and chose Savannah over cities in Florida because we wanted more seasonal weather without the winter ice and snow. I intentionally sought out a woman realtor and found Karyn Thomas online. After some research of her online reviews I contacted her. She responded immediately and I could tell instantly that she would work well with us. She was warm, genuine and humble in her initial conversation. She asked some questions by e-mail initially to get a sense of what we were looking for and then sent us a long list of options that fit our request and price range. When we met her in person she greeted us with a welcoming smile and was very accommodating to our schedule. The other thing that I appreciated is that she was not a pushy salesperson and when we voiced our opinion of things in the houses that we did not like, she asked for more clarity so that she could share with the sellers, indicating that our feedback is helpful for other realtors to show their houses better. That was nice to see how she works as a team player. She never negated anything negative that we pointed out but rather took notes so she could understand our specific tastes better. We had very specific needs and we also did not agree on everything as a couple. We ended up choosing a condo, totally against our initial desire but the location she selected was excellent and the amenities were perfect for the price. She suggested that we look at it, knowing that we were not interested, but knowing the features that it provided. She was right and we are very pleased with our choice and our new place in Savannah! I would highly recommend Karyn and I am very happy that she was our realtor!!!
