The best decision we made when it came to selling our house was choosing John Foster to be our agent. Here are few reasons why. John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his decorated 20+ year career. We were immediately impressed John’s understanding of our specific housing market. This was punctuated by his ability to effortlessly explain to us in simple terms the details of scenarios we encountered (i.e., offers, pricing strategies, contractors, timelines). John is accessible. He promptly responded to texts and emails, and was always willing to take our calls and/or stop by for an in-person visits. This level of client care is not only critical in the time-sensitive real estate industry, but it also reinforced our confidence that he genuinely had our best interests in mind. John was a fair and honest coach throughout the process. Let’s face it, buying or selling a home is consuming. Navigating the mountain of factors can be intimidating. John never told us what to do. Instead, he expertly laid out our options and their risks along with as many details as possible so that we could make an informed decision. Once, I pridefully dug my heels in on a point. He firmly yet tactfully reminded me that the market’s opinion would ultimately win out. I needed that reminder. Having someone in your corner whose measured approach and voice of reason is able to help you talk yourself off an impulsive (and costly) ledge at times is priceless. John was always upbeat and positive and treated us like genuine friends. He went the extra mile for us many times. Once, he hosted four open houses on consecutive weekends to generate traffic and interest which ultimately paid off. Another time, we were two time zones away and he stayed up past 11pm his time to discuss an offer we’d received. We’re so glad John Foster was our agent. He set quite a high bar for our expectations of a real estate agent. And although we’re no longer in GA, we’ll gladly refer him to our friends there.
