Over the years, I have bought and sold properties in 3 different cities and worked with 6 different agents. Lea ranks as one of the best. First off, she is super friendly. She, takes the time to get to know you on a personal level. It is imperative to know somebody's interests, hobbies, tastes, and lifestyle in order to find the right neighborhood and home. She does this! We would have long conversations and laugh and chat for hours sometimes. She also is willing to go the extra mile. For example, she helped arrange for plumbers, home inspectors, and exterminators to come to the home. She even paid the termite inspector out of her own pocket to make it easier for us. She did not have to do this. (And many agents wouldn't) Her knowledge of greater Tampa Bay is amazing. She was born and raised in the area, and it shows. I would ask her about a listing and immediately she would tell me if it was located on a busy road, or if the neighborhood had flooding problems, or even the history of local businesses in the area. When it comes to negotiating, she is assertive and effective. She will offer her professional advice, but always honor your request without judgement. She is not quick to make a sale. She will tell you if a property is overpriced. She will be brutally honest when it counts. She genuinely wants you to be happy with the home you purchase. Most of all, you can TRUST her. After we purchased our home, she still helps us out to this day. I can call her and ask her for a recommendation on a local handyman or even a nice restaurant to take my wife to. She is not making any extra commission from this. She just does it! She is someone I will keep in contact with for years to come. She treats you like a neighbor, like a friend, and not like a client.
