We are so grateful to have had Courtney by our side every step of the way in finding our new home! In a twist of fate, we ended up discovering a house that checked all the boxes—right in our own backyard (literally—our lots nearly touch, and we can see it from our deck!). The journey was full of unexpected turns, from an auction that first sparked our interest, to navigating competing cash offers that waived home inspections (yikes!), and other challenges along the way. Through it all, Courtney was steady, responsive, and committed. She takes the time to truly understand your “must haves,” wish list, and deal-breakers, and crafts offers that reflect you as a buyer. Courtney was also a strong advocate for us—especially when we needed to hold firm on important items like the home inspection, and in negotiations over property value and repair costs. She even leaned on her network to get us rough pricing during off-hours and weekends to help us meet tight deadlines. There were plenty of texts, phone calls, and laughs throughout the process. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, negotiator, and partner in this experience. Our house-buying journey started with a spontaneous showing (set up through Zillow) of a new build home around the corner from us, which a different firm had previously ghosted us on. When we tried scheduling another tour, we ended up linking up with Luke. Although we were very interested, that first home didn't end up working out timing-wise with the lease on our rental, so we'd kind of said "oh well" and shrugged our shoulders. Luke was quick to suggest another (and even better) listing for us that would work out, and we fell in love instantly. That same suggestion ended up being the same home that we purchased and now reside in and we couldn't be happier. Luke was always with us every step of the way to answer any questions and made the entire process as smooth and easy as could be. He was also always very patient and engaged with us whenever we had our adventurous and at times fussy toddler in tow. To top it all off, Luke gifted us an annual family pass to the local children's museum after closing that truly had us over the moon with how thoughtful it was. Highly recommended would be an understatement to anybody looking for a realtor to help them through this process.

I can't remember how we stumbled upon Scott several years ago when we bought a townhouse in Harrisonburg, but he was extremely patient, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with as he helped us with our search. We enjoyed keeping up with the real estate market through Scott's periodic market analysys through the years and he was equally helpful and professional when we sold our townhouse, and now our house as well. He was always promt with his replies, always available and patient with the myriad of questions we had, and made the sale process smooth by always clearly communicating what the next steps would be. Chris was the first realtor I contacted, and I'm amazed I got so lucky. I've been grateful ever since. First, he has a comprehensive grasp of the Valley market, from the big picture down to the details. I knew immediately that I'd found an expert, but he communicates his knowledge perfectly even to a nervous newcomer like me. He thoroughly answered all of my questions and was totally unfazed by the surprise complications I brought to the process. He handled all of them and made it look easy (which it wasn't).
