We choose Rick every time! This home that Rick De Barros just sold for us was the very home he helped us find about 3 years ago! Our story is that we do move a lot due to work and there are a lot of excellent agents to choose from, but Rick is our go-to. He answers his phone, he returns calls and texts communicating anything big or small. Rick pursues details regarding the sale of the house down to the surveys and future projects that may affect any purchase. He flushes out answers to questions that I had no idea I had to ask. In my opinion it is a duty to understand some of the process I am about to embark on. Rick handled all of my questions and I had confidence to just let him "do his job", for I am not a professional in Real Estate. I am glad I could rely on him as we had to move on to the next phase quickly. Also, Rick has what seems like unlimited resources in his contact list that can help fix or answer any question. No kidding. I know, a story, but it's true: We had a "sticky" sliding door on our house from day 1, we just lived with it as we thought since the previous owners lived with it, it must be a huge fix. Then came the sad day of our open house (sad, as this was an amazing home to live in), Rick called a "guy", they did some phone troubleshooting to no avail and the "guy" showed up the NEXT day. Within 30 minutes you could slide - or should I say glide - that door open/close with 1 finger (facepalm on us). When we listed, he directed us on how to de-clutter our home for pictures and for the open house. Of course, we all know to "tone" it down, but, it's nice to get some set guidelines to follow as it's a hard emotional task to dismantle a life. Rick De Barros is straightforward and a quality person to deal with when buying or selling your home. He will inform, research and sell your home in a very professional manner. Rick was knowledgeable, efficient, and went above and beyond what was required of him. He made sure all repairs were taken care of and helped me get warranty information on a couple items that saved me a lot of money. He was professional, but friendly.
