We had lots of requirements for our new property--it needed to be one level (no stairs anywhere), ground floor, three-bedroom, near enough to the grandkids, and in our budget. It was a tall order because units with these characteristics are in high demand. We don't know if any other realtor would have had both the deep knowledge of real estate and of the local market and also the patience to keep doggedly alerting us to new properties, pointing out their pros and cons relative to our needs, and picking us up and driving us to each property so that we wouldn't have the stress of finding the right places. She was cheerful and positive and helped us see the diamond that lay under the somewhat unkempt property we ended up buying (with new carpet and paint it was like a whole new place, as she had predicted). She talked us out of a more expensive property in the same building that was move-in ready because it wasn't as affordable but also she noticed things about its placement (next to the noisy condo main entrance) that would have ultimately made it less desirable in addition to being more expensive. She and her team of affordable contractors in just a few days had the updates made to our new condo and we were able to start moving in with very little delay. Thank you, Kirsten, for helping us find this property that fits our needs so well and also for bringing us carpet samples to help decrease our decision fatigue--every day we step on this plush carpet we and our feet are thankful for your guidance in decisions large and small. P.S. Dad's occupational therapist said the new condo is 100% safe other than needing a bath mat. In contrast, our old house full of stairs would have been a nightmare for him while recovering. Hooray for the perfect new home and the realtor who helped us find it!

How would we have gotten through the last several months without Kirsten as our realtor? There was so much going on in our lives and we needed to purchase a new home and sell our former home and she came through splendidly as our realtor in both transactions. Our home of 50 years needed some significant renovations in order to sell at a good price and she had experienced and competitively priced contractors available to get the work done quickly so that the home could be put on the market at the beginning of the new real estate season in early spring. That expertise and timeliness meant that our home sold quicker than we expected and for a price we were pleased with. She was generous and patient with her time as she knew that we were very inexperienced, having not purchased a home in the last half century and needed a bit of extra hand holding for that reason. We were referred to Kirsten by two different friends, and are so happy we got to work with her. We first worked with her in 2021 right when the housing market went bananas. She helped us navigate the crazy market, and although we weren't successful in 2021 due to being outbid on every offer we put in (despite all our offers being above asking price! 2021 was a crazy time), she worked tirelessly on the dozens of house tours and offers we put in. We decided it wasn't our time, and took a break until 2026 when we had saved up some more money, and Kirsten was so excited to help us make it happen this round. We sent her many houses we wanted to look at, but in the end the house we bought was one she suggested that was not on our radar and it is truly our dream home! Although we felt fairly prepared for the home buying process, having Kirsten as our advocate and guide was priceless. She answered all our questions and more, no matter how silly we felt asking them as someone who has never having gone through the home buying process. Kirsten is extremely knowledgeable, but also able to make information accessible to someone not familiar with the market and home buying process. We first met Kirsten in 2011, when we purchased our first home in Sandy. Since that time we have bought and sold several properties, each time with Kirsten. She's an excellent agent who will tell you honestly the pluses and minuses of a property from her perspective. When we purchased our current home, we must have looked at close to 30 properties over the span of nearly a year. Kirsten lead us every step of the way until we found what was perfect for us. When my mother suddenly needed a condo I called Kirsten and she expeditiously found us a perfect fit. When that condo needed to be sold, she put it on the market and got us the highest sales price seen in those condominiums in more than a year. I cannot recommend Kirsten highly enough if you are looking for an agent in the Salt Lake City area!
