First contact with Melinda was in January, 2020. She was quite friendly and very accommodating as we just walked in her office cold to start our search for a home. She listened very well as we tried to describe the home we were seeking. We actually met up with her later in the day as she took us to view a couple of homes that were available, once again very confident, professional and engaging. Covid came and placed our plans and many others to the back burner. Melinda kept in touch with us throughout the year a we tried to determine when it might be safe to renew the search once again. She sent interesting content for us to view online and responded quickly when we had specific questions regarding various listings either about the home or the specific location of the home. Fast forward to February/March 2021 and we once again renewed our search seemingly without missing a beat because Melinda kept us so well informed during the unwanted hiatus. We arrived in Florida with a full schedule of showings that Melinda had put together, of properties that she thought would be of interest to us. We did finally decide on a purchase , Melinda was with us every step of the way throughout the process. Because we lived out of state it was particularly reassuring to have Melinda as our advocate keeping us on task and meeting the necessary deadlines and laying out a plan that we could easily follow from 1200 miles away. We will be moving into our new home shortly and we must say that the entire experience with Melinda taking the lead has been relatively stress free. We feel very fortunate to have met Melinda and to have benefitted from her detailed preparation, local knowledge and shared dedication to our original goal of relocating and finding our retirement home. No question, she is a superstar!
