Melissa is the most hard working and practical real estate agents I have ever worked with! My wife and I were considering moving to the suburbs and at first we thought we wanted a forever home, then renting a smaller apartment, before finally settling on buying a starter home. We must have looked at more than three dozen houses while changing our minds so frequently it started to annoy ourselves. Throughout it all Melissa was unflappably upbeat, always happy to refocus her efforts anytime we changed our mind. And she kept such detailed notes of all our visits, not just about the house but our thoughts on various aspects. It might sound silly but after awhile it all starts to blur and those notes were the only way we could keep it all straight. My boyfriend and I had the most enjoyable time searching for our first home with Melissa. We recently bought a home in Glencoe. As second time home buyers moving from a different neighborhood we had some very clear requirements and constraints. We also had to get our head around the fact that space is at a premium on the North Shore. While her knowledge of the North Shore and all the villages is amazing her ability to listen, understand and truly evaluate prospective homes with a keen eye to our needs helped us immensely. Not once did we feel pressured to make a decision in any way. Even when we made a choice and there were some hiccups along the way, Dee Ann was proactive, resourceful and exceptionally enterprising in helping us appreciate the big picture and not make snap decisions. Recently, Dee handled the sale of my father and stepmother's home, after my stepmother moved into memory care. We could not have been more impressed. My father trusted her instantly, which means so much during a time of difficult transition. My sibs and I found her to be reliable, diligent, knowledgeable, hardworking and unflappable. We chose Candy Pyle from among several excellent realtors in our community not only through friendship but also because several friends had successful outcomes with Candy. Our house was a difficult one to sell because of a slow & overcrowded market in Winnetka and because the house's contemporary style is not consistent with the older "look" of the Winnetka neighborhoods. Candy was persistent with frequent open houses and showings, and when we did get a good offer she actively negotiated a final deal to buyers' and sellers' satisfaction. There were no hiccups in the process. Candy was positive throughout the months of showings: cheerful, helpful, and in no haste to reduce the asking price or make concessions.
