We chose Candy Pyle from among several excellent realtors in our community not only through friendship but also because several friends had successful outcomes with Candy. Our house was a difficult one to sell because of a slow & overcrowded market in Winnetka and because the house's contemporary style is not consistent with the older "look" of the Winnetka neighborhoods. Candy was persistent with frequent open houses and showings, and when we did get a good offer she actively negotiated a final deal to buyers' and sellers' satisfaction. When asked how to market our home, Candy told us to "declutter". After working on that she brought in some of her coworkers to view and independently put a price on our place. She brought us all the prices and her own estimate. Together we settled on a price. She explained each document we had to respond to and willingly took all the information we provided her. The very next day she brought us a bid, before the house had even gone our to other realtors. We accepted the bid and were happy with the quick response of the buyer (who was the husband of one of her coworkers). The offered price was just what we wanted. Her knowledge of the area is unrivaled, her "horse sense" about pricing strategy and marketing placement are spot on.
