Thomas Kersey is the best buyers’ agent I have used in more than a dozen transactions in my lifetime. He is extraordinarily educated in the Bluffton-Hilton Head-Savannah market and freely shares his wealth of knowledge with his clients. We found Tom Bulcock through great references from other homeowners in HHI area. This was our first house we bought in SC so it was very helpful to us how very knowledgeable Tom is about the market and every aspects of the house. Tom is very friendly and a great communicator. He laid things out very clearly for us. Tom is also very hands-on. He proactively offered to attend all the walkthroughs and facetimed us when we can't be present. We tasked Tom with finding our legacy home in Bluffton, SC to raise our young family. We wanted it all. Acreage, water access, privacy, nature, and a beautiful home. Not an easy task in today's market with very low inventory and high demand to be in coastal SC. Tom truly went above & beyond for the sale of my father’s home. From suggestions & recommendations before listing, to getting his hands dirty (literally!), all the way down to the closing date - Tom’s attention to detail, professionalism, & knowledge truly made our experience painless. I don’t know of many agents who would dedicate their personal time, money, and energy into a listing like Tom did. After working in real estate myself years ago, I knew I’d be a tough seller to handle, but Tom was incredibly patient, keeping us on track to a successful closing. Selling a property while living in another state is difficult, especially when it’s the home of a parent after unexpectedly passing, but Tom approached the situation with empathy, compassion, and true, genuine kindness. I could not recommend a better agent! Everyone knows someone who works in real estate, but Tom clearly loves what he does & takes pride in his career of helping people. Have you ever shopped for a major appliance, a car, a boat, an RV, without the sales person going through the product and highlighting the benefits of the product? Neither have I, yet the majority of real estate agents drive you up to the door of one of the larger investments you will make in your life and let you walk through a house on your own. They never take the time to preview the house, nor do the homework necessary in preparing for a sale. Their biggest preparation is calling to see if the house can be shown at a particular time. Thomas Kersey is what everybody's agent should be. He does a huge amount of homework, he knows the house he's going to show you, and he walks you through the house pointing out the things he feels are important to you. If the house is not suited to you, he's learned enough about your desires that he won't waste his time nor yours looking at something that he knows will not suit your needs. Anyone who has ever been in retail understands this process of qualification. It is effective, deliberate, and done with the full understanding of both the home and the client. I would have given him 10 stars if I could. I've had and sold 8 personal homes and dealt with a bevy of agents. Thomas is the best.

Thomas Kersey came to my house loaded for a mythological bear. This man, unlike any real estate agent I've ever met or interviewed, was prepared. I've known lots of them, too. Top agents. But Thomas? He had research, reports, and top secret data. He had ideas. He grasps the subtleties of architecture. He understands interior design and staging. He knows the difference between presenting a nice property and marketing an exquisite home. He comprehended his market with a laser expertise normally only shown only by scientists and surgeons. Thomas Kersey understood the assignment. He stays with the potential buyers and smoothly overcomes their objections. He finds solutions and leaps obstacles with a graceful bound that would make superman jealous. He draws verbal pictures in a buyer's mind and enchants them with the images. They can see themselves living an amazing new life in this amazing new home. Because he does all of this, our home, that had previously lingered too long on a chilly MLS, sold in a matter of a few weeks. I cannot recommend him enough.
