This was the second time we worked with David Coate as our realtor and both times he made the process quick and easy. He is very professional and is very knowledgeable of the market and surrounding area. He checked in with us frequently and kept us aware of what was going on. We cannot thank David enough for his incredible support during our recent home purchase. Trying to buy a house while being active duty military with my wife who was pregnant at the time was incredibly complex, particularly because I couldn't always be there to view properties. David stepped up completely, showing amazing flexibility and guiding us smoothly through the entire process. He made what could have been a chaotic experience feel entirely seamless and manageable. Even after closing, David reached out regularly just to make sure we were settled and completely squared away in our new home. We needed funding as well as opening a 1031 exchange on multiple properties in another state. David knew exactly who to introduce us to for these essential services. Also, at the same time, we needed advice from someone with experience to find a short-term rental manager who would help us get our business started in Alabama. Once again, he had multiple contacts so that we could interview and make informed decisions. His many years of experience made an otherwise complicated transaction… seamless. All the people he introduced us to were equally experienced, giving us enormous confidence all along the way. This was our first, but not last, purchase in Gulf Shores and we will certainly seek out David Coate for our next project. He was just what we needed – personable, hardworking and trustworthy!

David took on an epic task moving my father from Alabama to Missouri. He handled every aspect, from the selling of the house, getting them packed up, having an estate sale and setting up the actual move up here. My father is not very good with technology so David even managed all of that by keeping me in the loop and interacting with me on all the vital things that had to happen online. He even helped my father by talking with him and calming his extreme anxiety. This move was very hard for my father at his age and David made this go very smooth. David has taken on an essential job for the aging population in that area of the country and he handles it with the utmost professionalism. I told David multiple times that he was a god send to my family and I sincerely mean that. We could not have done this without all he did. David was outstanding. There were so many twists and turns with the home I was trying to buy. David was able to navigate all the obstacles while keeping inform of the progress. From the seller agent, Lender, Title work, to the requirements for repairs to qualify the house for the loan. David was there with his wealth of experience to overcome the challenges. I would highly recommend him to help either sell or buy a home. I have purchase over two dozen homes and this one by far was the most complex of them all.
