About Don

Don, a lifelong Indiana resident, grew up in Castleton and graduated from Lawrence Central in 1969. He and his wife Cathy reside in Greenfield. Together, Don and Cathy, a Phlibotimist with Hancock Regional Hospital, have four adult children and seven amazing grandchildren, 1 boy and 6 girls. Don spent the first 28 years of his career in the insurance industry starting as a Commercial Lines Underwriter and ending as the Operations & Human Resource Manager of a large international insurance company. He still maintains an active insurance license as an Independent P&C Agent to assist his home buyers with their personal insurance needs. In 1998, Don began a new career in Real Estate with Carpenter Realtors. In 2005 Don became the Broker Manager of the Greenfield office and still serves in this role. Over his now 28 years with Carpenter Realtors, Don has closed 600+ transactions and sold over $95M in Real Estate. Great customer service, attention to detail, and the support of Carpenter Realtors programs, management and tools, are what Don considers the keys to his success. Don enjoys Golf, his Guitars, Travel, Camping, Reading, Bacon and spending time with his family.

The Greatest Relator Around

Don kept in constant communication, made sure to offer additional appointments, used our parameters to find the best of the best, and was completely honest through the entire process. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and as first time buyers, understood the logistics and terminologies being used. Don is a top notch real estate agent

Don is a top notch real estate agent. He kept us up to date on where we were as far as showings and offers as the information came in. When we had an offer and had to navigate the inspection report Don had a lot of knowledge as to where we could get assistance for certain repairs but also he knew which items were important and which items were more of a wish list. His market analysis of what our listing price should be was spot on. I would recommend Don to all my family and friends for assistance in buying and selling real estate.
