My wife and I decided to move to Texas to be more central to family who live across the states and Mexico. Since our jobs are remote, we literally had the entire metroplex to choose from. In some ways this made it easier but in other ways it made it more difficult. Instead of searching out one or two cities, we all of them. Basically too many options. Our search area was quite large and the homes we went to look at were all over the place. From south of Fort Worth to North of Dallas we went through probably 25+ homes. To make it more difficult, we were moving from out of state so our searches could only be done on the weekends. In two trips over a month, Chris helped us learn about specific cities and which ones would have the features we were looking for. When we found the one we wanted, Chris advised us through the negotiating and bidding process. This is our first house purchase, and it was a whole new experience.
