I am a full-time real estate consultant and never too busy to help people with one of the most important decisions in their lives. Born and raised in Elmhurst, I have always considered it home. I attended grade school and high school at Immaculate Conception here in town. I graduated college from Illinois State University in 2000 with a degree in International Business.
Out of college I worked for 10 years with Enterprise car rental where I gained valuable sales, management, and customer service skills throughout my tenure there. In 2010 I decided to join the family business at Prudential Prairie Path Realtors, relocating my family from Los Angeles, CA and returned to Elmhurst. Although the beaches and sun of southern California were tough to leave behind, I knew my future was in real estate and Elmhurst was home.
Today, I reside on Chatham Avenue in Elmhurst with my wife Shelley and three sons, Matthew, Ryan, & Dylan. I am a second generation realtor and have been around the business my whole life. The company was founded by my father, Mickey, and has been servicing Elmhurst and the surrounding communities since 1988.
In April 2014, we changed our franchise affiliation to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and were awarded one of the first independently owned and operated franchises in Illinois.

Joel was calm, patient, & professional in a very quick market!
Joel regularly communicated and updated us via text and email during our house hunting and closing process. His understanding of the market yet calmness and certainty we would find the right home brought a lot of peace to my husband and I. He was always continue of our finances and put together the best proposals possible while respecting the cap of our budget and not pushing us to go beyond our means. Joel was extremely helpful. He was patient and really listened to what we were looking for.
Joel was always communicating with us. He really listened to what we were looking for and what our budget was. Joel never pushed us to look at something that would make us house broke. He was patient with us as we were all over the place for locations. He was flexible as far as showings and working with our schedules. He was also honest when we were looking at homes about their qualifications for certain loans as well as whether we had a real chance of securing the home. We highly recommend Joel if you're looking for someone who's going to be honest and upfront with you while helping you find what your looking for but also keep your feet in reality.
