About Melissa

Buying and selling a home can be challenging, especially in the DC/VA/MD market. Melissa has the ability to truly listen to clients’ needs and then connect them with opportunities that best match their requirements and criteria. She strives to make the home buying/selling experience as seamless and efficient as possible while maximizing real estate goals. Melissa’s passion for real estate started almost two decades ago, even before starting her career as an agent. Her personal experience with buying, selling, flipping and renting out properties, as well as her extensive Human Resources background, has helped her more fully understand her buyers and sellers. As a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and VA Mortgage Certified, Melissa loves working with those currently serving in our military as well as vets and their families. Melissa had the opportunity to work side-by-side with former military when she worked for government contracting companies. Directly after 9/11, she was based at the Pentagon supporting the Army and Joint Chiefs of Staff and was happy to have the opportunity to assist in such a time of need. Slow and steady wins the race…

I have had the pleasure of working with David through various real estate transactions over many years. His great customer service is the primary reason I keep returning. However, this last transaction we worked on together was easily the most challenging. In the past, I pretty well knew what I wanted, but not so much this time. When I first mentioned to David about wanting to start a search, the starting scope was between 5 & 150 acres from Leesburg to Winchester. Two years later, we’ve closed on my dream lot and hope to begin construction this summer. I’d be foolish not to involve David in that process as well. Thanks for the drives on those back country roads in that big pickup my friend!

Incredibly wise agent

From the minute we made the decision to sell our home we knew we wanted Andrea as our agent. She answered all our questions regarding our Sterling home and found us an amazing agent in Florida too. Her knowledge in selling a home goes beyond just putting a forsale sign out. She knows what it needs to sell and walks you through it with as little anxiety as possible. It still amazes me how it only took 3 days to be under contract with great offers. We appreciate all our realtor/friend did to get us from Virginia to Florida. As I reflect on my home-buying experience, filled with numerous stakeholders and processes - Melissa Bianco was the absolute most influential, impactful, and genuine person in every step towards purchasing our 1st home. Her trademark is her honesty, responsiveness, and professionalism. Melissa's knowledge of northern VA / Capital region, and ability to negotiate for her client's interest, provided my active duty military family of 5, a phenomenal first experience using the VA loan.
