I had been looking for a house to purchase for myself and my family and actually had another agent “helping” me… this first agent just didn’t seem interested in helping us find the perfect home so i stopped looking for a bit to let our contract expire! Then I saw a house I wanted to see some time later and Colleen showed me the house! Well this house didn’t work out for us. We first met Julie when we were touring what would eventually become our new home. She gave us the initial walkthrough, and somewhere along the way she cracked a joke that will probably remain an inside joke for years to come. As small as that moment was, it immediately showed me the type of person we were dealing with: someone who could read the room, meet you at your level, and make what can be an incredibly stressful process feel a little more human. As a first-time homeowner, there were plenty of moments throughout the process where I didn't know exactly what to expect or what questions I should even be asking. There were also a few hurdles along the way that made the journey a little more interesting than we probably would have preferred. Through all of it, Julie was patient, straightforward, responsive, and willing to work through things with us rather than simply pushing us through the process.
