I have been buying and selling real estate for most of my life. There are those that you hire that just do their job and those that go above and beyond. Carolyn is one of those people. Carolyn was referred to me by an acquaintance in Chicago. She is pleasant, knowledgeable, and sharp. She knows her stuff. I sold a four flat with her in Humboldt Park with Carolyn as the listing agent. She assessed the building and ask me to wait a couple months so that I could demonstrate higher rents. She told me that my units were underpriced by a couple hundred dollars and she was right. When lease renewal came we realized over $1100 more in revenue for the building and sold a hair under asking. Carolyn also coordinated painters, concrete vendors and cleaning people. Because I spend a good deal of time of town she let workers in to the property and made sure that things were done in the right way. This was priceless. Carolyn offered to do all of this for me. I have left deals and thought that agent was over-paid. Carolyn is worth every penny! Will only use her from now on.

She would get back to us very quickly if we had a question, and if she wasn't sure of the answer she would research it and get back to us as soon as possible. She would also research any other interesting houses in the same area we were looking at, just in case we missed a better property. (That's actually how we found the house we did buy, we passed an open house after we'd looked at a different property.) We had a very limited search for the house we purchased, the second one we looked at just felt like a very good fit, but she was very knowledgeable about everything and able to explain all the various steps we needed to go through to do an offer, then negotiate it, then complete the process. My boyfriend and are are both inexperienced in the home buying purchasing process, Nola made it feel less complicated. She assisted me a few years ago with a house sale, and she was capable and efficient with that as well. We would definitely recommend her, for both purchasing and selling of real estate.
