Anne Burroughs is everything you can ask and hope for in a realtor & more! I needed a reliable & responsive realtor because of a long distance work-related move from overseas. My move was complicated because I was working with an unpredictable gov't timeline, which made things complicated as I was trying to sell a house too. When I found Anne I was hopeful that all would work out. I can be very demanding. She was truly remarkable in that she went to the homes I had emailed her & filmed the property so I can see them. She also provided home recommendations. I chose the home before I listed my home; but Anne helped me manage the timeline as I made a contingency offer on my future home. Having bought & sold 5 different homes, I've worked with my fair share of realtors: family, friend, and the rest luck of the draw, & I can attest that Anne was by far the most exceptional that we've worked with. She is consistent, knowledgeable, communicative, ethical, & cares! She provided me with some of the best recommendations (she gave several options in each area) in closing attorney (Chip Royer wise choice for me!!) vice closing company, loan officers (smooth transaction with Tom Scully at Presidential), and homeowners insurance. She even gave me insight to some unethical things that she found my Buyers Agent was saying to me. While my unrelated home sale overseas was fraught with issues (my Realtor was not communicating and I almost lost a buyer), Anne ensured that my purchase in Virginia stayed within the timeline. She was on it when it came to the home inspection & she also recommended a handyman for the seller to use when it came to a few things the VA appraiser wanted done. She really worked on my behalf. When an issue came up with a neighbors fence encroaching on the property I was buying, she was at the table asking our attorney questions that I hadn't thought of. She negotiated our purchase price below listing. You will not regret it!
