With the house being in the Woodley Hills neighborhood of Alexandria (the home of my brother who had died) and me living on Capitol Hill in DC, logistics were a challenge for me. Recognizing this, Amanda went above and beyond the real-estate-agent call of duty to support me in getting the house sold. She suggested contractors to have unneeded furnishings picked up, get the interior repainted, get the windows cleaned, have landscaping done and have the final interior cleaning completed. She met me at The Home Depot multiple times to look at replacement appliances and flooring and provided well-reasoned advice that helped me make wise decisions. She worked tirelessly, driving all over northern Virginia to get the homeowner's association's clearance and making minor purchases to get the house ready to go on the market. And she arranged contingencies to ensure closing happened as scheduled. She gave me such focused attention that it sometimes felt like I was her only client. I truly can't think of anything more Amanda could've done to support me with this sale. She absolutely was a rock star.

This is the 2nd house that Kathy has helped me buy. She's also sold two houses for me. Kathy and her staff opperate a well-oiled machine that make the home buying process easy and relatively painless. I texted her, said "I'm ready to buy again" and it was off to the races. We spent a day, drove all over creation, and I put an offer in on the last home we looked at. Regardless of what arose, from price negotiations, to appraisal issues, to dealing with the VA, Kathy made every hurdle a non-issue, and got us through to closing. Throughout the process I knew that when I had a random question or another "attention deficit-OHH PRETTY" moment (and there were many) Kathy and her staff were just a text away and my question would be answered in short order. Kathy's experience, expertise, and knowledge of the local and regional market trends were invaluable and first rate. When my partner and I were ready to purchase a home it was comforting to know that when I said "I've got someone" that Kathy had us, and our best interests at heart.
