I could not say that Melanie Hunt helped us sell our home even though we listed it with her. Our home sold itself and she was not available for help. She did not mention that she would be out of town the first week the house was on the market or we would not have listed it right then. With the market like it is, we immediately had offers, but she was not there to negotiate. The buyers and the realtor who made the first offer got upset with her for not getting back to them to even discuss the offer before we accepted another. We did not know that she did not get back with them until we heard from that realtor with complaints. This would have been a perfect scenario for negotiation. She made mistakes in the listing and we had to prompt her more than once to correct them. She was well aware of our dissatisfaction and still charged her full commission. We feel her behavior was unethical. It's past time for her to retire.
