We contacted Barry through the Sun City Del Webb site. He was eager to help us. We lived in Massachusetts and wanted to relocate to the over 55 community in SC. He contacted us via email and text and then we set up a time to speak with him on the phone. We were nervous, first because we have lived in our own home for 50 years, and to plan a move to SC was daunting. He made us feel comfortable and confident we could do this. Every couple of days he would send us homes that came on the market using the criteria we gave him such as price point, square footage and bedrooms, etc. We selected homes he sent with a heart (like) or a thumbs down. On a Sunday in May, we met Barry at Del Webb, SunCity and viewed 8 homes. He had a print out of each. We liked a couple. Our house was put on the market mid June and sold the first day at open house. Barry and my selling agent were in communication. So in June, we came down to SC and bought a house we had seen in May. It had a price drop and Barry called the listing agent and told her we were very interested and motivated and we’d be there in a few days. We toured the home and we put in an offer with Barry’s help. That evening our offer was accepted and flew home excited as can be. Barry was always available to email, text, or receive a call to help us through this all. He is professional, diligent, and above all “knows his stuff! “ We were very lucky that he was our realtor.

Nothing but good things to say about Ms. Offnick, had never been involved with selling a home and was concerned about all the stories I had heard about real estate agents. Must say that she was very professional, was able to understand my needs and worked with me to put together a logical and comprehensive plan to market my property. After the sale had been completed, I discovered that the lawyer representing the buyer in closing had made a very big mistake in my favor. I notified Ms. Offnick of the situation and she was able to get the mistake corrected. Her comments regarding the situation were, " I want to be fair to both parties in any property sale" . If you have need of a real estate agent, Ms. Offnick shoulf certainly be considered.

Looking for a home from out of state is extremely challenging, but Susan made the effort to understand what we were looking for and made excellent recommendations on what neighborhoods to focus our search and what homes were excellent values. She communicated with us regularly before our visit to coordinate viewings and provided a comprehensive analysis of the market in each neighborhood, helping us eliminate homes efficiently. Susan really shined during our negotiations and through the closing, walking us through each step and staying on top of the entire process to ensure closing occurred on schedule. She compiled additional documents for our appraisal and communicated with us almost daily to keep us informed. Susan went above and beyond during our out of state closing by doing a video walkthrough with us and securing our keys. Susan is an extremely personable and professional realtor and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She will handle our future real estate needs when we are ready to downsize.
