If anyone reading this has ever been through the process of selling and or buying a home, you know all too well how stressful that can be, and that there can be many pitfalls along the way that if you don't have someone looking out for you and warning you about, can become very consequential. My wife and I went through the process of both selling a house, and buying a new house at the same time. If there were ever two poster children for an anxiety attack, that was my wife and I during this process. The only thing - literally, the ONLY thing - that kept us "sane" during the chaos of that process, was Mr. John Chernesky. From the moment we met John, we knew he was the agent we wanted to work with. He is very humble, very down to earth, and very "real". He'll tell you the truth about any question you ask, even if the truth isn't something you don't necessarily want to hear. He doesn't sugar coat, beat around the bush, etc. In layman's terms, he's a "doesn't pull punches" kind of guy, which is something I relate to. I wanted to work with someone who would give me honest answers to my questions and tell me everything I needed to know to be able to make informed decisions, without having to ask a million questions to get the information I needed. John was outstanding in that capacity. To add to that, John is one of those people that legitimately cares about his clients. I was actually pleasantly surprised when my home inspector asked who I was working with, and when I said John's name, he immediately responded with "I know him well. He's a great guy, and if he's your agent - you have absolutely nothing to worry about. He's one of the few agents left in the world of real estate that cares about his clients, and isn't out just to make a quick buck." This was further reaffirmed by John's actions - again, any question we asked, he answered. Anytime we called him he answered, and if he didn't answer, called us back within the hour.
