Twenty-four hours later, with 7 offers submitted (mine wasn't even the highest), Nancy got the call - my offer had been accepted! She was at the airport waiting for her flight to Italy to attend her daughter's wedding. Although she had arranged for an associate to work with me while she was in Italy, Nancy handled the entire home purchasing process - from communications with the closing attorney, loan officer, owner's agent and me - while overseas!
