Because of a job offer I had received in another state, my wife and I went from being comfortably entrenched in our St Johns home of 12 years to needing to sell and move very quickly... in under two months, in fact! I called Cary in a panic, and she came over that afternoon to walk me through what we needed to do. She gave me a very complete list of necessary repairs, landscaping, ideas for arranging the interior of house to photograph and show it and a general timeline for listing and closing. It was a lot of work, but my wife and I followed all of Cary’s suggestions and had the house cleaned up, beautiful and listed in under three weeks. The photographs for the listing were gorgeous (her photographer is a genius). We listed the house on a Wednesday evening and reviewed offers on the following Monday. We had FIVE offers, and each one was well over the asking price. Cary talked us through the offers explaining the pros and cons of each one. We were mostly concerned about having the house close without any hitches, and Cary pointed us to the offer she believed to be the most secure. The house closed smoothly less than one month later! The total process took less than seven weeks, and we were able to leave Portland for our new home out of state on the day of closing. Cary handled everything with clarity and good humor. And let me tell you, her humor was essential to our survival. Selling a home and moving across the country, especially in such a short amount of time, is incredibly stressful. I don’t think we could have handled it at all without Cary’s experienced guidance. She is a true professional and a great companion. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Thom was amazing, we really could not have asked for a better experience! He helped us buy a home while we were out of state. We talked with him months before we were even looking and he helped us figure out timing. When it came time to start looking, we would fly in on a Friday and he would drive us to as many homes as we wanted to see before we had to fly back. I really appreciate the number of weekends he gave up to help us find the right place. Thom's knowledge of the different neighborhoods is extensive as well, we really felt like we got to know the areas we drove around in. During the closing he would send us video updates each week to let us know how things were progressing and was always around to answer any and all questions we had. Buying a home during a pandemic was difficult but Thom made it easy for us, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking. Thanks Thom!!
