This past week marked my eighth real estate transaction—yes, I’m basically a semi-professional homebuyer at this point—and my very first in the majestic land of North Carolina. I’ve tangoed with stellar realtors in Virginia and Florida… but then came the dark ages. My last experience in the Midwest? Picture a reality show called Realtors Gone Rogue. It was traumatic. Let’s just say I approached the Triangle market with all the caution of someone crossing a rickety bridge over a pit of emotional snakes. Enter Adrienne. She was recommended by my CEO—who doesn’t just hand out compliments or contacts like candy on Halloween. So when she raved about Adrienne, I took note. And boy, was she right. If you’re looking for someone to help you buy or sell a home, just stop reading and call Adrienne now. No, seriously, save yourself the scroll. This woman is a unicorn. Not only does she know the market inside and out, she understood my laundry list of must-haves faster than I could say “no carpet flooring.” She’s relentlessly dedicated, somehow always reachable (does she sleep?), and forever five steps ahead. The search lasted six months—not because of her, but because I’m picky. Like, “HGTV diva meets spreadsheet analyst” picky. Adrienne was endlessly patient, showed me more than 30 homes, and didn’t even flinch when I asked to see “just one more… again.” Oh, and get this—she was literally two hours out of surgery at one point and still scheduling showings for me. I told her to rest. She told me the house market waits for no one. And the magic didn’t stop once we were under contract. She handled inspections, coordinated with my lender, communicated with the attorney, and tied up every loose end with the grace of someone hosting a high-stakes dinner party during a hurricane—all while being impossibly charming. By now, she’s not just my realtor. She’s a friend. A unicorn friend. Adrienne is a gem. Actually, scratch that. She’s the whole treasure chest!

Kristina was an excellent guide and partner as my husband and I looked for our first home in NC. She really listened to us and was an active part of the process of narrowing down what we wanted and where. Her patience and constant good humor helped to make the search fun. And once we were ready to make an offer and get into the negotiation process, she really showed how invaluable she was! She was on top of every detail, did all of the interactiing with the seller (builder)'s agent and made sure we knew exactly what was going on and what we needed to do. She was "boots on the ground" for us since we were not local and occupied trying to sell our home and pack up for the move so I never felt worried about not being onsite for the inspections. Selecting and buying a home is a stressful and complex process. Kristina made it so much easier and we are forever grateful that we had an experienced partner helping us navigate through!

Working with Kairos Properties was an absolute pleasure! As first-time homebuyers, we had so many questions and things we didn't even know to ask. Katie and Rachel were incredibly knowledgable, patient and willing to go the extra mile to make our experience so great. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area.
