We used Shawna to help us find a home when we found out we were being stationed at Fort Bragg and again three years later to sell our home when we received orders to a new duty station. Shawna was absolutely fantastic to work with. Throughout both the buying and selling experience, Shawna continuously stayed in contact with us and provided detailed knowledge on the pros and cons of specific neighborhoods, what the market was currently experiencing, and provided us what options she thought were best. Her flexibility to work with us on our timeline and schedule was a huge plus as well. Shawna's experience both working with the military and as a military spouse enable her to understand the challenges that military families experience when buying or selling a home. This was our first experience both buying and selling a home, so we had an endless amount of questions about the entire process. Shawna happily answered all of our questions tirelessly and even provided additional information to ensure we were as informed about the process, the experience, and everything to expect. Aubrey is an extraordinary agent. We purchased a foreclosure through her at the end of May, she was able to schedule our showings exactly when we needed them and we were able to find and close on our house in less than 4 weeks. She is extremely easy to communicate with, very prompt with her responses, very thorough and knowledgeable. We were looking for a house within an impossible timeframe and she made it happen. I couldn't be happier with our choice to choose her as our agent. She is extremely professional, however is still genuine and comfortable to be around. She goes above and beyond her duties as a real estate agent. She helped to ensure that our investment was sound, although that isn't part of her job. You can tell she truly loves her job. One thing that is a particular pet peeve of mine is when an agent is late for an appointment and Aubrey was always on time. During the end of our transaction seller's (VA bank) pushed the closing back by 10 days, after we had already signed settlement papers and thought we were all closed with the exception of being recorded with the county. This was beyond an enormous inconvenience for my family as we were living out of Airbnb's and then had to switch to an extremely over priced hotel room with the 6 of us and 2 pets. The situation was tense and extremely stressful, but Aubrey came to our rescue and allowed us to stay in her parent's winter home in Fayetteville until our closing. She went well above and beyond her duties as an agent. However, she once again pulled though for us and pulled some strings to get us closed and recorded within 48 hrs of our original closing date.
