We were moving from NJ and initially were looking in the Chapel Hill and Durham area but pivoted to Raleigh to be closer to the high school one of our sons was going to be attending. Kathy always made time to show us all the homes we wanted to see. She was a fantastic negotiator with the builder we ultimately bought from. She helped line up a great home inspector, helped us find a lawyer for our closing, and recommended a home and auto insurance company. She is 100% professional, crazy smart, hard working and a delight to work with. Her communication with us throughout the whole process was fantastic. We have worked with Ellen on several occasions. First was the sale of our home on Cornwallis Road. The task of preparing our house to sell seemed overwhelming at first, but Ellen was so amazing, not only walking us thru the process but physically jumping in and helping. She also helped us buy our new home. Last summer we called Ellen again to help us list and sell my in-laws house because they had passed away that summer. It was an estate sale so the entire process was exhausting, but again Ellen jumped in and helped in every way possible. The process of emptying the home during such an emotional time could have been a lot harder, but she not only helped us thru that process but assisted the bank/trustee in every way she could.
