I’ve worked with a good handful of realtors in my life, and I must say that Mouse made things the most blissfully easy and pleasant I’ve ever experienced. He’s truly a ‘people person’, friendly and funny, and I will miss looking at houses with him. His knowledge of the workings of houses was far superior to anything I’ve experienced; and he had no problem rolling up his sleeves and doing extra dirty work like crawling under houses to look at things there which could be an issue. He’s highly proactive, and made sure to check in with me regularly. He was always available for a call if I had a question, and responded immediately to texts, both of which are rare. He understood from the beginning what my likes and dislikes were, as well as my communication preferences, and made sure to address/follow them with every house we looked at. Unlike other realtors who were just trying to sell a house, he really wanted to help me find my perfect house, and would honestly point out any possible deal breakers when he found them, so we could quickly move on to the next house (he did not waste my time, which I very much appreciate). In addition to this, he has NUMEROUS connections around this area, having grown up here, and made sure to find the most reasonable prices for the best estimates, inspections , etc. Even after closing last September, he’s still sending me useful information and reminders and checking in with me to make sure my new journey is successful. I’m so glad I trusted him, and if ever I need to look for another house, he will be my go to person! I’m a bit sad that I can only give 5 stars. Thank you, Mouse! If I were your boss, I would give you a huge raise.

Mouse was wonderful to work with - very responsive, helpful and knowledgeable! Wasn't afraid to get his "hands" dirty - went into the crawl space of the home that we purchased to make sure everything look right. Can't ask for a better agent!

I recommend Mouse and Gloria in the strongest terms after they helped us buy our home this year. Their style is casual and low-stress, but when it comes time to get the job done these two are on top of it! Banks, lawyers, inspectors—they knock down any obstacles! They know the area so well, I never doubted that we were getting all the info we needed. They really go the extra mile to help put your mind at ease during a transition that can often seem overwhelming. These two are great professionals who deeply understand the ’vibe’ of the communities around here. They are the perfect point of introduction to the area. We absolutely love our new home and I am thrilled with the amazing work Mouse and Gloria did to get this for us.

This was my first home purchase so I had no clue where to even begin. Shane helped me from the very first step of finding resources to search for homes all the way to closing day signings. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in any situation or stage of life. It was a wonderful experience working with him.

My experience with Shane was very positive. He communicated well and is very knowledgeable about the NC buying process, which was especially helpful for someone coming from out-of-state and being a first time homebuyer in NC. He helped me every step of the way from finding an excellent mortgage broker to get pre-approved to completing all the tasks during due diligence. Shane was quick to schedule and go to showings when I requested to see a property. He also found other properties to help me expand my search. But, Shane's experience and expertise really shines after the offer is accepted. He was extremely helpful during the due diligence period in coordinating the law firm, the inspection, survey, etc., - all were top-notch professionals. I would highly recommend using Shane for your next home purchase.

When we first decided to move, our very first call was to Shane Kirk, who sold us our first home nine years ago. From start to finish, Shane handled every detail with exceptional care and professionalism, guiding us through the entire process while keeping us calm, confident, and well-informed. He is someone we trust implicitly, and we truly cannot imagine purchasing a home or property without him in our corner.
