When we first started looking into the home buying process, my partner and I saw a lot of horror stories. The market is hard. Buying a home is stressful, and finding the right home can take months. Thanks to her, we also found a mortgage loan officer who helped us qualify for the NYS Homebuyer Dream Program, greatly reducing any financial barrier to closing. We went from casually looking for a home to closing in just over two months. Some of it was luck, but a lot of it was having an incredible agent. Buying a home really can be that easy.
