Things with Tom started out very well. We had a contract within 8 days. After some fixes we were on track. In the end, things didn't run so smoothly. Due to a lack of communication, the "final walk through" never had a firm time of taking place between both sides. No exact time was conveyed to be out of the house which caused the buyers lawyer/realtor being involved and making demands straight through me! I expected Tom to be the buffer between us but that was no communication on both sides. Additionally, the realtor for the buyers said to my face that she was the lawyer and I was to be out ASAP! I had never met the woman previously. Finally, due to scheduling and weather issues, the new roofing job has not been completed as of yet. The other lawyer is withholding $10,000 from the sale even though I have paid the contract for the job in full. Is that even legal? My experience of owning a home in NY was great until the end. I won't be back. v/r Robert Bannister

With todays market, you need a realtor that looks out for you like family and thats what Sandy did. She happily went with us to multiple showings until we found the perfect house. In our opinion she went beyond what was expected to make sure our house sold as smoothly as possible. Sandy took on the role of therapist, building materials expert, and codes officer while juggling the buyer, the buyer realtor, banks, lawyers, inspectors and appraisors. We cant compliment Sandy enough!
