I reached out to Jill Ortlieb from Berkshire Hathaway to let her know that my parents had decided to move here from South Dakota and it was time to find them a home relatively quickly. Right from the beginning Jill wanted to know all about my parents and what kind of home they were truly wanting. Jill listened to their many requests and not once pushed us in a different direction. Jill also helped us by explaining the current state of the home buying market which helped greatly. In less than 24 hours she had already contacted me to let me know there where homes we needed to look at. Jill set-up the appointments and was there every time we showed up to look at a home. We looked at many many homes over the 3 weeks time and none that we looked at really seemed like the home my folks wanted. Jill was relentless and never ever stopped looking to make sure nothing just dropped back on the market and by doing so she literally found the perfect house that had been just relisted. The last item I must say is she handled all the paperwork coordination between my parents still living in South Dakota and the State of Michigan. This was very stressful at times but Jill was always patience and would tell us everything is going to be fine.
