Jill Ortlieb

I reached out to Jill Ortlieb from Berkshire Hathaway to let her know that my parents had decided to move here from South Dakota and it was time to find them a home relatively quickly. Right from the beginning Jill wanted to know all about my parents and what kind of home they were truly wanting. Jill listened to their many requests and not once pushed us in a different direction. Jill also helped us by explaining the current state of the home buying market which helped greatly. In less than 24 hours she had already contacted me to let me know there where homes we needed to look at. Jill set-up the appointments and was there every time we showed up to look at a home. What really impressed me is Jill has so many years of experience that she would give her true thoughts on the house and how it was priced. We looked at many many homes over the 3 weeks time and none that we looked at really seemed like the home my folks wanted. Jill was relentless and never ever stopped looking to make sure nothing just dropped back on the market and by doing so she literally found the perfect house that had been just relisted. The last item I must say is she handled all the paperwork coordination between my parents still living in South Dakota and the State of Michigan. This was very stressful at times but Jill was always patience and would tell us everything is going to be fine. Jill was 100% correct as my folks purchased their dream home and continue to talk about the incredible effort of Jill Ortlieb to make that happen! You are awesome Jill :-)

Jill listed our house after helping us find and purchase our new home. She was able to give us sound advice as to what to do for the property prior to listing it to prep it for sale. Once the property was listed, Jill held several open houses for us and communicated with several potential buyers on our behalf. Jill kept in touch with several buyers during this time and was able to secure a bid for our home. Once we received a bid, Jill was quick to work with the buyers to establish times for home and bank inspections, making the time from accepting the bid to closing short and as easy as possible. In summary, Jill is a very knowledgeable, helpful and proactive realtor. Highly recommend working with her.
