Carol has two major asserts as far as being a real estate agent. The first is that she listens to what you want as far as where you want to live. Prior agents decided that they know what I wanted more than I did and did not listen to me. I wanted to live in a community with retirees who wanted to do things. She found me a community with over 55 year old residents who were very active and who continually went outside to exercise and enjoy the beautiful weather we have been enjoing. They go to restaurants and other eating establishments as well as super markets to purchase food and necessities for their homes. The current residents take me with them to help me learn about different places and the advantages or detractions of each. The second asset which Carol has is that she is the hardest working real estate agent I have ever met or worked with. Her energy level is amazing. If she says she will pick you up at 9:00 AM, you had better be ready since she will be there. She finds the answers to all your questions about the unit she is showing you and tells you all the good points and the bad points so that you are entering into negotiations with knowledge on your side. She is honest and forthright. You can rely on her descriptions of the conditions of the unit and how actious the seller is to want to sell the unit. I have recommended Carol to people I know who want to buy Florida real estate without fear that she will mislead them. As first-time homebuyers, my husband and I were looking for a realtor who could help us navigate this foreign process. Family members of ours had purchased a home with Chris years prior and recommended that we reach out to him for help. We are so thankful that we did. While searching for about 18 months in a sellers' market, Chris was patient and devoted to helping us find not just a house that met some of our criteria, but the best place for us to invest our savings and create a home. He sent us specific listings (not automatic search results) and kept an eye out for homes coming on the market that could better meets our needs than what was currently available. He was always free for home tours and came prepared with knowledge of both the house and the neighborhood (e.g., schools, nearby amenities, builder/floorplans/models). We never felt rushed while touring as Chris was also checking on important features of the house (e.g., age of HVAC, water heater, appliances, roof). When we were ready to pursue a purchase, Chris made recommendations for how to strengthen our offer, both initially and during negotiations regarding appraisal, but made sure we were comfortable with what was put forward. He also referred us to a great lender (John Petersen at TD Bank), who helped us lock in a relatively low interest rate. Once our offer was accepted, Chris ensured that all of the next steps happened in a timely manner. At the final walkthrough, Chris not only helped us check the house's condition, but also explained how the final cash-to-close had been determined so we didn't have any surprises when signing. Even after closing, Chris has still been available to answer questions. We are so grateful for his help and plan to work with him again in the future!
