I have been buying and selling real estate for most of my life. There are those that you hire that just do their job and those that go above and beyond. Carolyn is one of those people. Carolyn was referred to me by an acquaintance in Chicago. She is pleasant, knowledgeable, and sharp. She knows her stuff. I sold a four flat with her in Humboldt Park with Carolyn as the listing agent. She assessed the building and ask me to wait a couple months so that I could demonstrate higher rents. She told me that my units were underpriced by a couple hundred dollars and she was right. When lease renewal came we realized over $1100 more in revenue for the building and sold a hair under asking. Carolyn also coordinated painters, concrete vendors and cleaning people. Because I spend a good deal of time of town she let workers in to the property and made sure that things were done in the right way. This was priceless. Carolyn offered to do all of this for me. I have left deals and thought that agent was over-paid. Carolyn is worth every penny! Will only use her from now on.

When my father-in-law died, we needed to sell his house in New Orleans which is a 10 hour drive from our house. We knew no realtors and had no connections in the New Orleans area. I reached out to Real Estate agents I trust and Michael called us within two hours. He met with us the same week and we made a plan to get the house on the market. After eight months of trying to get through the legal process of wills and succession with no movement, I asked Michael if he could recommend an attorney that could help. He immediately gave us a recommendation and I contacted the attorney. When I called the number (after hours) I was blown away by the fact that the attorney he recommended actually answered the phone himself. After a brief conversation of the situation, he told us he was confident he could go from zero to completed succession in 3 to 4 weeks.... and he did just that. When we actually listed the property, Michael pointed out some repairs that he thought would need to be made, and then told us that one of his resources had already gone by, looked at it, and prepared an estimate in case we needed to make the repairs. We had a contract on the house within one week and closed within 30 days. When we closed, Michael recommended we use the same attorney since he was familiar with the property and it would speed up the title search. Closing was quick and easy. I can't say enough how much I appreciate Michael's help whenever we needed it since we were 10 hours away. Our property was well below the value of what Michael is accustomed to selling, and it took almost a year to get it on the market because of the legal succession process, yet he treated us as if we had the most valuable property he had ever sold.
