I met Javon at an open house when I was first starting to step into the waters of searching for a new home. I felt a good connection right away and asked her to be my agent. Happily, she greed and we began. I was in and out of town for a year and a half and Javon was so incredibly patient and always positive whenever I came back into town to see a few places. She was great fun to work with and she seemed to know exactly what I would like and what I wouldn’t, always calm and reassuring when I was sometimes losing hope. She helped me through this process like no other agent I had ever worked with in either buying or selling a house. When I was ready to move forward with an offer, the complications with selling my former home, in another state, became jumbled as the real estate laws there are very different than Louisiana… while I was exploding at each misstep with the NY house sale, issues that greatly affected my ability to move forward in New Orleans, Javon always kept a steadfast and surefooted attitude, keeping me on track while reassuring our seller here that everything would work out… and it did. I am now in my dream home, in my dream neighborhood… the neighborhood in which I pined about living since I was a small child, but never truly understood that I could actually live in this lovely area one day. There is so much about this home that is so right for me and Javon could detect all those characteristics, but she also brought up points she was concerned I might object to… she was always focused on finding me the perfect home. She was never on track to simply make a sale like so many other agents. She knows this market and she knows people on both sides of a real estate transaction. I feel very fortunate to have been able to work with Javon and have only the highest recommendations for her to anyone looking for an agent. To say anyone is the greatest is a bold claim, but Charlene really is. My wife and I decided to move to the New Orleans area and we had no idea where or how to start; thankfully someone who knew her referred her to us.
