Starting this review is a lot like when my wife and I began looking for a home. We had no idea where to even begin. That all changed when we met with Greg. Greg is an experienced, patient, and extremely knowledgeable human being, who shared with us not only real estate knowledge, but advice on life as well. He is a true mentor. He took his time getting to know my wife and I to learn about what we were looking for in a home. Being first time home buyers, my wife and I were extremely nervous and uncertain how to proceed. Greg was there for us every step of the way. From the early morning texts to the late night conversations, Greg was responsive and patient with all of our questions and concerns. And there were plenty of questions of concerns! Never once did he make us feel like we were in over our heads or not ready for this important decision. He helped us figure out what will work best for us. Finally, that perfect opportunity popped up and we were able to execute the deal. I cannot recommend Shane Plummer enough for your real estate needs. He is hands down the best in the Chicagoland area and is a wonderful person to work this. This is our second time using Shane in which he both sold our home (the same home he helped us with 6 years prior!) and buy a new house at the same time. That experience of buying/selling simultaneously has a propensity to be extremely stressful, but Shane helped us navigate that with ease. On the selling side, we leaned heavily on Shane's experience and recommendations and made a great profit with his hard work. We had our open house during a torrential downpour and tornado-laden weekend, and Shane was still able to provide us with the utmost service and quickly shift focus to ensure we had a great amount of foot traffic during what would otherwise probably be a disaster of an open house weekend. On the buying side, Shane worked tirelessly with the Seller's real estate agent to close the deal. As always with Shane, everything went exactly how he said it, and provided great insight to the process the whole time. Shane was also very attentive to our needs and opinions and it really felt like he worked WITH us, not just for us. As a final aside, Shane also comes with a great network of team players. If you're just starting out and gathering information, and Shane recommends you Josh Kahn as a broker, you need to do it without question. His team is just as good as he is and they work wonderful together.
