We worked with Eli to purchase our first home—I can’t recommend her enough! From the beginning, she helped us prepare for such a fast-moving market. She recommended a couple of mortgage lenders to help us get pre-approved (necessary first step in this market!)—the one we moved forward with was a great fit! She was thorough in explaining the home-buying process and really worked to understand our preferences. She was quick and organized with setting up showings, always accommodating our schedules. Eli knew we wanted to put a bit of work into a house, and her extensive experience with doing renovations was so incredibly helpful. She helped us size the amount of work and cost to do certain projects and seemed to always have a referral that she trusted to do great work. We love our home and don’t plan to move any time soon, but we’ll definitely work with Eli again when we do!

My husband and I were novices in the real estate world and Marilyn was always available to answer our questions and walk us through things. She is professional, confident and kind. I frequently would text her and received a response almost immediately. We bought our new home with Marilyn and she also sold our townhome within days of putting it on the market. After moving around so much I’ve had quite a few residences and therefore plenty of experiences with realtors. The list includes realtors in PA, IL, NJ… on both rentals and purchases. Mitch Gabel is second to none. What sets him apart is his patience, his ability to ask many questions, listen, and work in the buyer’s best interest. Having 2 boys born within 15 months of each other, we quickly found our new Family of 4 busting at the seams of our 2 BR townhouse. It was clear we needed a bigger place, preferably a single family home with 4+ bedrooms and some type of yard. We also recognized that our next house would hopefully be our home for the next 20+ years. And that’s where the challenge began. <br/><br/>Mitch helped us write a “must have list” and a “wish list”. He also paid close attention to our budgetary needs and our preferred locations – school systems, friends, parks, etc. Samantha (wife) and I agreed that we wouldn’t rush into a purchasing decision on the first house we liked. Mitch entered our requirements into the online MLS system. Several times each week houses that fit our profile were sent to us in the form of online descriptions and pictures. We spent many Saturday afternoons looking at houses. <br/><br/>Throughout the entire (somewhat lengthy by many standards) process, Mitch maintained his strong support of our needs. He was quick to point out weaknesses of a house, preventing us from making a poor buying decision. Mitch was also quite creative, helping us along by providing input, “…you know, you might want to consider…” We never felt rushed during the entire process. The end result being a nice house that our Family will enjoy for many decades. I am grateful to Mitch Gabel and highly recommend him to anyone in the Chicago area for any Real Estate needs.
