But often there’s a joy in it: You’re moving somewhere better, making good on an investment, or your family is growing. But sometimes, we’re not so lucky. Sometimes we’re forced to sell when we don’t want to. That was the case with me and my wife when we suffered a personal tragedy. We were forced to sell a home we owned and loved in order to make ends meet. Selling was both an immediate priority and, ironically, something we couldn’t devote ourselves to full-time. Day, night and across time zones, Kristy was there for us at any hour, working overtime and explaining every step of the process to me (and often patiently re-explaining). Kristy did an amazing job for us. In our time of need, Kristy took the time to know us as people. She approached our unique situation with empathy and kindness.
