She was always honest and direct and made sure that we didn't have any misconceptions or delusions that would lead to us making an uninformed decision. What we found most helpful were the instances where she pulled from her experience with either owning her own home or references made to previous clients she had helped close. That helped us put questions or concerns we had into larger context and, overall, make better decisions. She would also advocate for us, even when we would suggest something that she thought wouldn't be in our best interest. We were very grateful that she was willing to "keep us on track" and not just entertain the spur-of-the-moment ideas we had. Yvette was and is incredibly knowledgeable and action-oriented.
