In 2011 I was living in NYC, working full time while also attending college full time at night. As if life wasn't complicated enough, I was also in the process of looking for a home to buy in Florida. The lease on my apartment was about to expire, both my wife and I had handed in letters of resignation to our employers and our kids were not registered for the following school year in NYC.
