Carol York was readily available to answer questions, concerns and to listen. I was completely in the dark going into this and was amazed about how little I knew and how much I learned. Lots of papers to review but Carol helped me through each step of the way. The best way for me to sum it up is that even though I did not have to pay any commission to Carol, as the buyers were without an agent as well, I gratefully paid as the help was that valuable to me. All told I would use Carol and FSBO again. I would highly recommend at least talking with her to understand the assistance she can provide, before paying a lot of commission to an agent. I'm sure market factors played a significant role in our decision to use Carol and FSBO, but Carol was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

We saved thousands of dollars working with Carol to sell our home in Simsbury. She was always there to offer her assistance when we needed help or to answer any questions we had. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking to sell.

Selling your house is not a mystery. If you do some research, have confidence in yourself, don't always believe what salespeople tell you, you can save money (ex: 3% of $500,000 sales price = $15,000 saved) Carol York of For Sale by Owner Connecticut was the right choice for me. Carol helped me as much as I needed, she was calm and precise.

Everything went well.

We are very grateful we found Cathyann. We had been trying to buy a house for a year and a half. We decided to work with Cathyann and after the first house, our offer was accepted! Great negotiation skills! She is quick to answer questions and to book a showing in this competitive market. If she was away from the office, a member of her team was right there to assist. She loves helping families as well. We couldn't be happier with our new home and couldn't have done it without Cathyann. Thank you for making our family's dream come true!

Cathyann Schulte made selling my house smooth and stress‑free. She provided clear guidance at every step, communicated promptly, negotiated effectively, and handled the paperwork professionally. She can also recommend a trusted real estate attorney and provide contacts to review closing documents and handle title and escrow. I highly recommend her services.

Life got complicated right after my wife and I initiated a search for a different home several years ago with Cheri. Through this process life decided to make things a little more challenging and it required some knowledge and resources that Cheri readily shared while the search for the new home was continuing being delayed. She continues to help with other issues and question post closing. This process was made easy because of Cheri’s diligence. Cheri was patient with my search because I explored all kinds of option when the occasion finally arrived to make a move. She tolerated my endless stories about “what it” was and “what it” should using it all to interpret what it means in find the right new house in a fast paced market. She worked really well collaborating with other agents and attorneys through a couple of unusual circumstances. She continues to help with other issues post closing.

Cheri is truly one of one! As a first time homebuyer there’s a lot to unpack when working through the process. Cheri was always the voice of insight and came prepared, always coming with key information on each of the homes we were viewing providing valuable perspective and comparisons. She always had my interests in mind and accommodated all my requests. A true professional and someone who loves helping people. Thank you Cheri!

Trying to move to another state was quite challenging for us but Cheri got to know us and what we were looking for and helped us find a home in our budget that fit our needs. She was with us every step of the way helping with all of the inspections and paperwork needed. Answered all of our questions walking us through the process with ease.
